I need to bring my computer in for service, what should I
bring?
Just the tower or the desktop, unless the problem lies within another part.
Example, if you are having printing problems, you should bring in your printer.

each part)
There are so many cables; do you need any of them?
If you are bringing in the printer, you need to bring in the printer cable and
the power cable for the printer. We don't need any of the cables that go to the
computer (ie. Mouse keyboard, speakers or power).
How will I be able to get the cables back the way they are
when I bring the computer home?
We recommend that you label each cable and where you remove it from. Masking
tape makes an easy label, use numbers or letters to correspond with each
connection.
I think I have a virus? What do I do?
If you still have access to the internet we recommend www.trendmicro.com and their
PC-cillin internet security 2004. It is what we use, and we have had great protection from
them. If you don't have access to the internet or your computer is non
functioning, bring it in to us asap.
My computer won't turn on?
Check your cable connections. Do you have a surge protector? Is it turned on? Is
the fuse blown on the surge strip? Unplug any other peripherals that are
connected to the power source except the computer and monitor. If it still fails
to boot, bring the system in for a check up.
I can't or don't want to bring in my computer, what can I
do?
Call us, we make house calls! Quite often we can fix the system at your house or
office. If we can't then we will take the computer into our shop and fix it then
return the system to your location.
